I personally had the most fun playing Halo 2. Just had so many LANs, so many great memories, it was a blast to play. Was it the best game, maybe not, but my favourite, absolutely.

hahaha I just laughed at both of those posts. Solid fellas. H2 and H3 are tough to decide between. H2 was just sooooo good. But H3 had more great memories. I would have to say H2 as well though I think. But H3 sliver behind.

HCE came out the year I got done university and had a ton of LANs with friends. Still feel it is the most competitive requiring the best aim and movement. Having to adapt to all the weapons weapons, the ROF and general movement speed. After that probably H2 then possibly Reach. I have hard time deciding which I like better HR or H3

Halo 3 by far! I played halo 2 after halo 3 and just couldn't get use to the graphics/overall feel. I started playing halo 3 a bit late, and I do not know what it was I was just so addicted...After my first year of halo I was introduced to actual MLG and just always wanted to go to an event(yet to happen). I think it it partially had to do with all of my closest friends were playing it which made it so fun, especially cause we'd run 4s and actually win! Good times!

My favourite would easily go to Halo 2. Gameplay and mechanics aside, nothing will ever compare to the experiences I've had with that game.
From LANing everyday after school with friends for countless hours, to playing on matchmaking on Xbox Live for the first time, to making great long term friendships....I have had some amazing memories that have come from Halo 2.

Halo 2 was awesome to play but halo 3 was probly my favorite just because I won world cyber games and stuff nbd... I quad shotted walshy on mainstage. He sucks.

No but on the real Halo 3 was my favorite purely because I started playing online on that game. I played since halo ce and I played halo 2 but since I didnt play online till Halo 3 it wasnt as fun as it could have been. I still played Halo 2 online after Halo 3 came out and I had a lot of fun, I wish I played halo 2 online when it was in its prime. No matter how bad Halo Reach is its the game that I knew the most about and I learned the most during halo reach.

I played a good amount of H2 but not as much as I wanted or could have because my house got broken into and my xbox stolen. The 360 was already rumoured so my wife and I decided to wait until it was released. Not sure it would have take the number 1 spot on my list from HCE though.
